I have to admit that during this newborn photo session I fell a little bit in love! Baby Ned is incredible.
I am always excited to meet a new family and Ned’s were no exception. It’s a real honor to be invited to a family’s home during the first few weeks.
After meeting little Ned it was plain to see that he was a relaxed little man. He was more than happy to chill on the bed while I photographed him. The really special shots, however, were captured when the whole family were just doting on each other. Mum and Dad were both so attentive throughout which really suits baby. I don’t like to leave them out of their parent’s arms for too long.
We included some items that had special meaning to them, such as a hand-knitted bunny, made by Mum and a handmade wooden rattle made by Dad and a special tool used by Ned’s Great-Grandfather when he worked as a Cooper many years ago. Mum even had her own newborn blanket which we swaddled little Ned in for a few shots. I always ask if parents would like to include a special heirloom or two in their newborn session. No doubt Ned will treasure these very special heirloom photos when he is older.
Please enjoy the beautiful newness of baby Ned’s newborn session below. (And don’t blame me if you get a bit broody)!
