What a rollercoaster these past few years have been, thankfully we seem to be back to normal life now and celebrations are going ahead without worry. Perhaps you are hoping to celebrate a special milestone like First Holy Communion or Confirmation soon and would like to mark the moments by hiring a photographer. If so, here’s why you should ask someone to capture you and your family together.
I’m not sure I need a photographer
I know, from experience, that a confirmation and communion day can be super busy and a little overwhelming. You’ve got a long list of items to check off your list, from dressing the family, arranging catering or indeed, cooking everything yourself! Getting photos of the day can be one of those jobs that’s forgotten about. Believe me, I’ve been there with my own children.
That’s why I recommend hiring a photographer to take some portraits for you. You can get on with everything else knowing that you’ll have some great photos to remember your child’s day. Once you have your photos secured you can relax and get on with your day.

I’m interested, what are the details?
My very special communion and confirmation sessions take about 20-30 minutes (so they don’t impact too much on your celebrations) and can include or not include the family, so it’s up to you. They are very natural, relaxed shoots, focusing on the child and/or family, just being together and enjoying their special day.
Can we do it another time?
Don’t panic if you miss out on a spot for the big day. Children can be more relaxed for the sessions after the day itself so this might be something to consider.
Confirmation and Communion photo sessions take place on the big day itself or can be arranged for another day afterwards. I don’t do sessions inside the church but I will come to you before or after the ceremony, wherever you are.

The cost of the session is €200, including a €50 deposit when booking. This includes all your digital images, one large print from the day and I also have gorgeous photo products for you to choose from.
Please get in touch if you have any questions. Call me on 085 7212320, click here to email me or WhatsApp me. I’ll be happy to answer any questions you might have about booking a Confirmation or First Holy Communion Photography Session with me.
If you would like to give someone special a communion gift that lasts a lifetime, I have vouchers available. You might have a family member with a big day ahead and this is the perfect gift for them. Scroll down to see some examples of past communion and confirmation sessions photographed by me.
I can’t wait to hear from you.
