During your baby’s first year they will hit countless milestones. First smile, first giggle, first tooth, I could go on and on. Every baby will reach their milestones in their own good time, but each one is a little celebration. You are a family now and you have watched this tiny bundle grow into a real person over the last 12 months, still very much in love.
I met little Jack on the morning of his first birthday. Before the celebrations had kicked off. While the family home was still quiet and peaceful and Mum and Dad were relaxing at home with their gorgeous little guy. What better way to mark this major milestone than to capture your one year with a first birthday photography session at home.
More than ever I am convinced this is the best way to capture a child’s personality. Jack was most comfortable in his familiar surroundings with his very loving Mum and Dad. He did not have to sit still or behave in any way that wasn’t natural to him. When children are happy and comfortable their personality shines and that’s what I am there to capture. Personally, I think baby’s first birthday is the perfect milestone to capture especially if you haven’t arranged photos during baby’s first year.
