How long have you been procrastinating about arranging your family photography? What’s putting you off? Is it finding the time, getting everyone to a studio? Let me ask you, what could be easier than inviting a photographer to your home to capture some authentic images of your children?
I met Roisin and Aoife a couple of weeks before Christmas for their photo session in their own home. They had recently put up their Christmas decorations and were full of excitement for the weeks ahead so we had plenty to chat about. It usually takes a few minutes for children to warm up to a stranger in their home so I always keep my camera in my bag until we have spend some time chatting and they are feeling a bit more comfortable.
After a few minutes warming up we continue to chat about the important stuff like how playschool is going, or who is their favourite from Paw Patrol! I keep shooting while we talk and we always manage to create something beautiful. I love intense eye contact in a portrait and these little girls had plenty of that to give me. Scroll down to enjoy some of the best from their session.
”Thank you so much Teresa, it was such a positive experience, with amazing photos of my girls, you captured them so well. Thank you.” Michelle, Mum to Roisin and Aoife.
